Marrakech to Fes via Desert 3 Days

Day 1 : Marrakech - Ouarzazate - The Valley of Roses - The Gorges of Dades

In Marrakech, your guide and driver will pick you up at the place you want with us. Once ready, we will head south, towards Ouarzazate. Cross the mountain and cross the Tizi Ntichka pass, which reaches its peak at 2,260 meters above sea level. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the oases and palm groves, the numerous kasbahs and the landscape of the Middle Atlas. We can also enjoy the quiet of the mountain and appreciate the lifestyle of the Berber people. At each step, we will discover a new scene of the daily life of these peoples. Then we continue to the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). In this spectacular frame they have been shot of several famous Hollywood movies, such as Gladiator, Asterix and Obbélix, Sahara by Penelope Cruz. Lunch will be free in the village. After lunch we will follow the road that goes to Ouarzazate, the capital of the cinema. We will make a stop in a kasbah in the center of this city, the Kasbah Taourirt, one of the best preserved, in other times, was the residence of the pasha of Marrakech, built in adobe, retains its painted stucco decoration, the wooden ceilings and cedar. When leaving, we will continue our way to the desert. But first, we will pass through the Valley of Las Rosas, where its inhabitants make creams, soaps and perfumes with rose water. We will continue until we reach Las Gargantas del Dades.

Day 2 : The Gorges of Dades - The Gorges of Todra-Erfoud -Merzouga

After breakfast, we will start the road crossing the Gorges of Dades, in this route we will find typical villages and we are also the region where we can cross with the Berber nomads of the mountain. Lunch will take place in The Todra Gorges. We will travel by the tar route, at our pace we will be able to observe the important palm grove of Tinghir is one of the most beautiful and extensive of Morocco. Then we will arrive to the city of Erfoud and from here we will head towards Merzouga. They will receive us with a hospitable tea and we will get on the camels that will take us, crossing this wide expanse of golden sand with its slow step, being able to observe and feel the wonderful landscape and sensations that the desert offers us, until arriving to the cliffs. There is where we will spend an unforgettable night, in the middle of the dunes, with fire, music that will entertain us the evening with traditional dances, we must see it, we have to live it.

Day 3 : Merzouga-Rissani -Alnif-El Valle Del Drra-Marrakech

In the morning, early, after seeing the sunrise from the top of a dune, we will return to the lodge, where we will have breakfast. Once ready, we will take course to Ouarzazate, visit the city of Rissani economic capital of Morocco and first imperial city of the country. We can see the souk (market) under the red arcades and its many ksours. After, we will follow the road that goes to the village of Alnif, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will continue through the magnificent Draâ Valley, where we will make several stops to enjoy this beautiful valley that runs along the river that bears the same name. It is the longest river in Morocco and crosses the whole country to Mauritania. We will cross the Anti Atlas to reach Ouarzazate. We will continue our journey and the adventure crossing through the port of Tizi Ntichka (2,260 masl), until we reach Marrakech.
