Day 1 : Arrival to Marrakech
Nomad Experience Tours escort guide will be waiting for you at the Menara airport in Marrakech to transfer you to your accommodation. Depending on the arrival time, you will have the opportunity to visit the Koutoubia area (XVI century), the Menara gardens and the famous Jemma El Fna square known for its narrow streets and the Zocos de la Medina. Day 2 : Marrakech – Zagora (360km)
Departure from Marrakech south. We will cross the village of Ait Ourir from where the road narrows to cross the neck of Tizi Ntichka of 2260 masl. On our way to Zagora, we will pass through the beautiful Draâ Valley with its 3 million palm trees, where we will discover ancient villages and the Kasbahs. Day 3 : Zagora – Tafraout – Ramlia – Ouzina – Merzouga “Berber Villages in the Desert” (280km Track)
After breakfast, we will travel in the 4×4 by little trafficked tracks, we will observe different landscapes at the pass. In the town of Ramlia we will share a tea with locals and visit their garden. Continue to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi, the largest dunes in the entire Sahara. In the dunes you can take advantage of the rest of the day to admire how the light changes over the dunes of the desert at sunsets. Courtesy dinner and accommodation in a hostel.

Day 4 : Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – (90km Track)
After breakfast, we will visit another of the tracks used in the “Rally-Dakar”. We will go to the other side of the dunes visiting the 2 oases of Merzouga, the nomadic lands, the village of Khamlia (where they lived originally from Mail), the mines of Mifiss, the desert plateaus, the Berber nomads, the Tissardmine oasis. Towards three o’clock in the afternoon we will arrive at the inn and after lunch we will go up to the camoellos that at a slow pace will take us to Las Jaimas, crossing the wide expanse of golden sand enjoying the wonderful landscape that offers us in the sunset in the desert. This night will be special. We will sleep in the dunes in nomad tents (Jaimas) as the Berbers do. Here we will enjoy a Berber dinner, music and we will appreciate the spirit of the desert with an indescribable starry sky as seldom seen. Day 5 : Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – The Todra Gorges
We will get up early to see the sunrise from the top of a large dune. Later we will return with the dromedaries to the lodge. After breakfast, we will go to Rissani, where we will visit the market and its famous donkey parking. It is a unique place, where all the tribes and nomads of the desert come to supply themselves, a very curious visit. Then we will travel to Erfoud where we will visit fossil quarries with an age superior to 380 million years. Day 6 : The Gorges of Todra – The Gorges of Dades – Boutghrar – Valley of the Roses – Ouarzazate
We will leave for the Valley of Dades for the “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs”. We will visit the Gorges of Dades, and by track we will enter the Atlo Atlas where we can compare the difference of life between the Berbers of the mountains, the nomads of the desert and those of the Atlas. We will see the caves where they live. We will pass through the Valley of Las Rosas where its inhabitants make creams, soaps and rose water. We will continue in a typical restaurant of the area (free lunch) in the village of Boutghrar and then we will enter the valley until we finish our route in Ouarzazate. Day 7 : Ouarzazate – Kasbah Taourirt – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Kasbah Telouet – Marrakech
After breakfast we will visit a Kasbah in the center of Ouarzazate which is the Kasbah Taourirt. In other times residence of the pasha of Marrakech. It is built in adobe with crenellated towers. We will continue the adventure crossing through the port of Tizi Ntichka (2,260 masl). We will arrive in Marrakech. Accommodation at the Hotel.
